About the event
The JFK Memorial Race is one of West Bay Yacht Club’s signature events, taking the fleet on a scenic and strategic course around Prudence Island. This annual race challenges skippers and crews with shifting breeze, current, and tactics as they navigate the island’s full perimeter. Open to both Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker classes, the event offers competitive sailing while showcasing some of the most beautiful views on Narragansett Bay.
Whether you’re racing for the podium or simply enjoying a classic distance course with fellow sailors, the JFK Memorial Race is a highlight of the season and a tradition we look forward to every year.
